How To Apply Mineral Eye Makeup

How To Apply Mineral Eye Makeup

Many, if not all, of you are familiar with using pressed eyeshadow in a palette. The idea of using loose powder eyeshadow can be intimidating, especially considering the potential for fallout! Applying Mineral eyeshadow incorrectly can result in a messy application that ruins any base makeup you have on. Follow my simple tips for applying Mineral Eyeshadow seamlessly and you'll become an expert in no time!

Mineral makeup is packaged in a jar with a sifter to prevent product waste. For Mineral eyeshadow application, it is recommended to apply before foundation. Begin by priming the eyelids for a smoother application. Once the primer has been absorbed, use a flat brush to apply the mineral eyeshadow. Dip the brush into the product, tap off excess, and carefully apply to avoid fallout underneath the eye.

Once you have the product on your brush, gently apply it directly to your eyelid and blend until the colour is evenly distributed. For a darker, more intense look, add more product and repeat the process. To create a smokey eye effect, use a fluffy blending brush to apply more eyeshadow to the crease of your eyelid. Blend it in using gentle circular motions, moving up towards the brow bone. For a soft pink look, try using NCinc’s Blusher and Bronzer as eyeshadow to enhance and brighten your eyes.

After applying mineral eyeshadow, use a makeup wipe to remove any fallout under your eye. Now that you've read this blog, you're all set to experiment with mineral eyeshadow! Which shades will you try first?
